What? There's only one discussion going on in the Pub?

That's definitely not enough. Barman! Another drink for me and the boys!

In the meantime I'll choose a song from the Jukebox:

Hahaha, what crazy corner of Youtube did you find THIS in?

It was in my FB news feed, don't remember from whom.

Just checked, it was CChaos via Carmen Leilani

Cosmic Wow-ism

Smokin' Lingus

It reminds me of Chick Corea and Steely Dan, that era of funky jazz fusion. And of course I like the name Lingus for obvious reasons.

What do you get when a nerd and a geek wax not-so-eloquent on the nature of the universe and their lives?

Double-duty dorkathon.

Funny.

uhm, a smokin groove slam keyboard craziness

This is LOL funny and applicable to kennilingus:

I saw this segment on mindfulness tonight on 60 Minutes.

Honestly it sounded a LOT like the above parody. For example, in the interview with Kabat-Zinn:

"So, I get out of bed with awareness, brush my teeth with awareness. When you're in the shower next time check and see if you're in the shower."

"The mind is like the Pacific Ocean, it waves. And mindfulness has been shown to drop underneath the waves."

"There's no place to go. There's nothing to do. We're just asking you to sit and know that you are sitting."

"When you're walking, just walk. When you're eating, just eat."

Religion and torture. See this article for the details. Only a majority of the non-religious are against it. But even in that category 40% support it, so something more than just religion is going on. Still, it says something.

I heard this song for the first time today and it hit me right upside the aesthetic.

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
