Thanks for the link, Kela. Looks interesting and comprehensive [and weighty, at 600 p. ;-) ].
The interview only mentions but doesn't discuss the evolution of religion. I'm curious what he says about emerging religions like we've explored here, e.g. the postmetaphysical religion of Caputo or some western Buddhism like Batchelor. It seems the book only goes to the Axial Age and that he suggests a type of axial revival, but what forms might this take in our postmodern culture?

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
