I was researching QM literature at amazon. Some results:

Quantum Psychology: How Brain Software Programs You and Your World [Paperback]

Robert Anton Wilson  (Author)
"Robert Anton Wilson is one of the leading thinkers of the modem age." -- Barbara Marx Hubbard, Committee for the Future

"Wilson managed to reverse every mental polarity in me, as if I had been pulled through infinity. I was astonished and delighted." -- Philip K. Dick, author of Blade Runner

"Readers with open minds will like his books." -- Psychological Perspectives

"What great physicist hides behind the mask of Wilson?" -- New Scientist

"Wilson is a Quantum leap!" --Israel Regardie

Product Description:

Throughout human history, thoughts, values and behaviors have been colored by language and the prevailing view of the universe. With the advent of Quantum Mechanics, relativity, non-Euclidean geometries, non-Aristotelian logic and General Semantics, the scientific view of the world has changed dramatically from just a few decades ago. Nonetheless, human thinking is still deeply rooted in the cosmology of the middle ages. Quantum Psychology is the book to change your way of perceiving yourself--and the universe for the 21st Century. Some say it's materialistic, others call it scientific and still others insist it's mystical. It is all of these--and none.

Review:

By

wow, this is one hell of a book. If you are familiar with Robert Anton Wilson, and have not read this book yet, you will love it. Robots, I mean humans, are programmed by our language that we use, our beliefs, and models of the universe, thus limiting us in understanding life and each other. We often tend to categorize or file everything, everyone, and every situation into certain prejudices. Aristotelian logic puts everything into yes/no, this or that, good/evil, one or the other. Wilson talks about 'maybe logic', as well as general semantics (Alfred Korzybski), dismantles hard 'science', and links quantum theory with our neurological brain patterns. This book, along with the exercises may help you break free of most conditioning, and expand to your mind to infinite possibilities of interactive perception.

Ms. Mora has taken the explanation of quantym physics as it relates to energy therapy to a level that anyone will be able to understand. But it is not just the understanding, it is the ability to do this work where this book excels. ANYONE can do this type of work. Reading this book with an open mind and an open heart is key. Once you read this book, it is up to you to put it into action. Do not be worried about what works or what doesn't work - it comes with time and practice. That being said, this is probably one of the best books available in the field of energy therapy and a must for anyone who is even remotely interested in learning more. It is up to each of us to take responsibility for our lives and our healing abilities - this book provides the means by which we may do so. Kudos to Eva-Maria Mora for sharing all of her gifts with the world - this couldn't come at a more appropriate and much needed time. I, personally, am most grateful for your generosity.

Nothing I See Means Anything: Quantum Questions, Quantum Answers [Paperback]

David Parrish (Author)

Product Description

This book definitly closes the gap between mind, matter, and cosmic intelligence. Parrish elegantly indentifies the pathways to highest consciousness-a place we all are but don't know it.

Dr. David Parrish is a major intellect exploring medical psychology, particle physics, quantum physics and metaphysics with clear vision. After working with these areas for years, he finally realized the need to present an integrated view that would support evidence-based conclusions.

In his book, he thoughtfully and lucidly sets forth his premises in a language easily understood. Parrish has cited the strong influence issuing from the work of David Bohm, Richard Feynman, Kenneth Wapnick and Ken Wilber.

David Parrish addresses everyone's three perennial questions: who are we, where are we going and what does this all mean? In his quest for ultimate awareness, he employs the pervasive mechanism of projection, and its unfolding extensions, to discern underlying truth. Using this projection mechanism, the connections between the sciences and metaphysical/spiritual ground become graphically visible. Applying this mechanism even to the paradoxical findings of quantum physics allows us to better understand harmonizing holographic solutions while his analysis of neurophysics and metaphysics has produced a very compelling and resonant platform supporting this contention.

This conceptualization provides the message that the good news is, that the bad news of our psycho planet is decidedly untrue and delusional. Behind our guilt-driven, endless perceptions of form, lies the gift of true content; the content of peace and love. A forgiving, expanding vision of this divine gift will eventually eliminate our causeless addiction to the unnecessary cycle of birth and death. Our shared and prevailing absence of meaning is virtually obliterated in this sleeping masterpiece of scientific and metaphysical integration.

NLP 3 and QUANTUM PSYCHOLOGY for Beginners [Paperback]

MARCO PARET
(Author)

Product Description

In this practical book you will find complete information on NLP3, Enneagram and Quantum Thinking. Quantum thinking is the most modern way to see the mind. NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a technique very diffused today for change and improvement of communication skills. NLP 3 is a further development of NLP toward quantum thinking, called NLP 3. NLP 3 is based on many experiments and also on integration of not verbal technology and powerful Enneagram concepts. Each technique explained has been practiced and tested hundreds of times with success. It is a very efficient way of thinking and operating, going well beyond the paths of mainstream NLP. This is as a new discipline based on recent research. Please, throw away all your past mental conditioning and open your mind to new frames of thinking: what you find here is the direct result of experience! Dr. Marco Paret is the founder and Director of the ISI-CNV International Institute for NLP (NeuroLinguistic Programming), Hypnosis, NCV (Non Verbal Communication), Leadership and Coaching. Dr. Paret is also a well-known NLP Master Trainer. Quantum Questions: Mystical Writings of the World's Great Physicists [Paperback]

Ken Wilber (Editor)

Product Description

Here is collection of writings that bridges the gap between science and religion. Quantum Questions collects the mystical writings of each of the major physicists involved in the discovery of quantum physics and relativity, including Albert Einstein, Werner Heisenberg, and Max Planck. The selections are written in nontechnical language and will be of interest to scientists and nonscientists alike.

Andrew Flaxman (Great Barrington, MA USA)
Aside from the great collection of writings by the world's great physicists, the introduction by Ken Wilber is worth the price of this book. If the reader can understand this well written 25 pages, he or she will be able to understand the world and our place within it. Not recommended for close-minded, pseudo-scientific persons.
Quantum Psychology by RAW "is" one of my favourite books of all time.  I only wish more people understood its "central point" better and utilised less essentialist language as a result of reading it.
I've been a RAW fan since the beginning and with Quantum Psychology he is at his finest. I found a free, bootleg copy online at this link. It is like a TSK book in that he not only describes what he's talking about but gives practical exercises in each chapter so one can also experience it. And no, he is not a strict interpretation-experience dualist. That wouldn't be very quantum, now would it? Nevertheless there's also something to learn from the exercises.

I found a website with some quantum- and Integral-related resources:  Integral Science.

Here is one of the essays:  The Physics of Peace: Quantum Nonlocality and Emptiness.

Peter Collins was one of the references at that link and I was just perusing Integral World and he is starting a new series, Toward an Integral Physics. See part 1 and part 2. I skimmed part 1 and he goes into correlations between cognitive levels and levels of physics including quantum, a bit like Tom is doing. Only it seems he is finding a rapprochement between Einstein and Bohr.

I just started reading Balder's linked article but this struck me:

"It is a standard tenet within the Middle Way to say that emptiness itself is empty,
without independent essence. I have not seen it said anywhere, but this must imply that
the Middle Way’s relationship to other traditions defines it at the deepest level. In other
words, emptiness implies that the Middle Way is defined by how it relates to other
worldviews."

Emptiness is not an "in itself" or a causal realm above or apart from any other thing or non-thing, for it too is relational to other views. I.e., it too is a perspective that can only be defined in relation to other perspectives. Certainly is can be argued it might be a better or more comprehensive or inclusive perspective than others, but it is not an absolute perspective.

Indeed.  I was struck by that passage as well.

From chapter 13 of RAW's above book, chapter heading "E and E-prime":

"The case for using E-prime rests on the simple proposition that 'isness' sets the brain into a medieval, Aristotelian framework.... The weakness of Aristotelian 'isness' or 'whatness' statements lies in their assumption on indwelling 'thingness'....in simpler words, the Aristotelian universe assumes an assembly of 'things' with 'essences' or 'spooks' inside them, where the modern scientific (or existentialist) universe assumes a network of structural relationships" (98 - 101).

Theurj,

"I've been a RAW fan since the beginning and with Quantum Psychology he is at his finest."

Wait a minute, he is at his finest?  Surely you mean "I consider Quantum Psychology RAW's finest work"? :P

"It is like a TSK book ..."

What?!  It is like a TSK book?  You must mean "it seems like a TSK book to me"?

Just kidding.  I can't normally be bothered to write using General Semantics on forums, either.

And to anyone else, if you havn't read the book, this post probably won't make any sense to you.

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
