This is the best commentary i've come across as far as what has been happening in Quebec:

At around 6:30 she relayed that her father used to say to her: "I don't want to hear about your philosophy if you can't grow corn." Which reminded me of Dial's recent comments in the OOO thread. Bryant gardens and writes quite eloquently about how the plants, soil, insects etc. have their own agendas, and how he must navigate them. And he also waxes eloquent as to how this all relates to empire, for me indicating 'corn growing' in his philosophy.

Here's a (radical) resource, which I also mentioned on the old forum:  A Language Older Than Words.

Maher is also dealing with the ecological materiality of enacting ideas as discussed in this recent post. It is not enough to drum and sing and camp, for to enact these ideas requires the kind of political 'ground game' lacking in OWS. Which (en)activism could generate more money for the cause, money being a HUGE (with Donald Trump's intonation) material component.

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
