Participatory Spirituality for the 21st Century
In our old Gaia forum I had a series called Daily Tarot Card Meditation Game. The idea was to choose a card for viewing and then for participants to freely associate anything that came up for them, anything at all. It could be related to the traditional meanings of the card or not. It was more an exercise in free-form meditation, of improvising a meaning on the spot as it bubbles up from our subconscious, creative wellspring. It was a fun, playful, shared activity and I'd like to reinvigorate it here. I won't post a card daily again but only when the muse strikes me. Anyone else though is free to post one with or without their comments any time they wish. And since this is a creative activity I'll post it in this forum. Let the shared art begin!

And what's up with his sleeves? There are too many jagged lines for it to just be folds in the fabric. No folds in his pants. So it wouldn't appear to be just raggedy and worn. Is he half sheep or something? Or goat maybe? Ah, his doubts and disappointment lead him to turn into the Devil? I see the storyline now: Devil, the early years.
He works hard for the money but by the looks of his tattered jacket he isn't paid much. He can't afford to live in the city so lives and works in a small rural town on the outskirts where the cost of living is less. His wares though are likely sold in the city where the money changers make the profit on his work while paying him pennies on the dollar. It's the typical capitalistic sweatshop overseas where Walmart has its products made and then sold in the US, where it can treat its US workers in like fashion.
At the moment, this site is at full membership capacity and we are not admitting new members. We are still getting new membership applications, however, so I am considering upgrading to the next level, which will allow for more members to join. In the meantime, all discussions are open for viewing and we hope you will read and enjoy the content here.
