Zizeks best advice for us: Assume that the Catastrophe is inevitable, then start today with actions to counter it. In doing so, there is a however tiny chance that something else, something new might happen. Is this not worth the try, no, compadres?

Still in other words, we need to think bigger about our current situation. We will reach a zero point, a singularity, new challenges in economics, world power politics, genetic engineering/ human augmentation, natural and technolgical disasters, and a dozen other shit we cant even imagine right now. How are we to deal with all this?

 

If we follow Hegel, we know that Aeons have beginnings, and endings. I find it a possibility that there is a judgement involved between a particular beginning and end of a specific aeon. Wha will ours be like? The sixties rocked, yes absolutely, but if we follow Wilber, the new aeon will rock tenfold. TENFOLD you bastards do you digg this.

 

Finally, I'll share my own humble vision of the coming singularity. In my imagination, and after contemplating about Deleuze, Velikovsky, the Thunderbolt Project, UFO research, prophecies of different mystical traditions, poetry of insane poets, The Kurt Cobain Diaries, Finnegans Wake, Radioheads 'Kid A', the Oedipus Myth, the Dictatorship of Art, Hypnosis, Charles Fort, Buster Keaton silent movies, Anchovi Pizza, Nintendo Karaoke station, adidas power shower gel, dental floss and so on and so on.

 

WHat? o yes, my vision. I think the earth will be shaken in its foundations. the sky will fall, the oceans will rise. strange lights will appear on the horizon, glowing from nuclear radiation. Nine dragons will emerge from outer space, and the promised hero will come and fight the dragons in a fight to death. the outcome is unknown.

Haha. Where is this taken from? It's too far fetched, and poorly written, for the National Enquirer. Who, by the way, is "Buddhist monk"? Is that a proper name? We read, "Scientific interpretation... makes it evident..." Gee, what kind of "scientific interpretation" could our intrepid journalist be referring to? Tea leaf reading? This ain't "postmetaphysical." Sounds more like something written for people who have gone off their meds.

and yes, the "India Daily" does not exactly qualify as a reliable scientific source. but hey, every Fortean Investigator knows that you can find the most incredibilest news stories in the Yellow Press or in the "Nature" Nagazine. But yaaaaaaahh I know it's all green blurb and doesnt count... thank KW for inventing the preTransPhallacy. Were would we be without it.

You could be right about me being not ready for the next consciousness stage. I really need to find someone to get me laid in order to forget about these radioactive dragons in my dreams... and yes I probabbly am wrong about them numbers - its not nine dragons, its more like, maybe seven or eight. I got to redo my Kabbalihstic calculations all over again...
