A Google-Plus friend posted a link to this -- right now it's actually a fund-raising page, but looks like the blogger, Jeremy Johnson, has received the funds he needed. As the conference starts, perhaps there will be eventually a different link.

Since I won't be able to go to the ITC this year, I'll be checking in on the blog.

I'm curious how Google + is working out as a social media outlet? How does it compare to Facebook?

It's similar -- but quieter, more low-key and muted somehow. Perhaps just because there are not as many people there (and perhaps, in my case, because I have smaller circles of contacts there). You don't get the sense that your privacy settings will be changed on a whim, or by "accident." (Of course, "privacy settings" is a VERY relative term these days . . . )

It's funny, though: most of the folks I'm in touch with through G+ are also on FB -- and FB remains the place where most of them prefer to interact.

Thanks for starting this thread, Mary.  I think Jeremy will do a great job as ITC blogger; he's quite a dedicated and talented emerging Integral writer.  He's a member of this forum, actually (Shaman Sun), but hasn't posted here in quite awhile.  (If you look at the membership roster for IPS, there are actually quite a few familiar -- but mostly quiet -- faces here...)

I believe this is Jeremy's blog, though I'm not sure if the ITC 2013 blog posts will appear here or on the Meta-Integral website (or both).

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.

At the moment, this site is at full membership capacity and we are not admitting new members.  We are still getting new membership applications, however, so I am considering upgrading to the next level, which will allow for more members to join.  In the meantime, all discussions are open for viewing and we hope you will read and enjoy the content here.
