Craig Hamilton is offering a new telecourse.  I'm posting an announcement on the Bulletin Board because I figure some members or visitors here might be interested in checking it out, but also because I admit I'm fascinated by the >(inflated) language:

An Academy for Evolutionaries

Here at Integral Enlightenment, we're committed to one thing: empowering Evolutionaries. That means providing you with the tools, training and support you need to be able to fulfill on your highest calling. We've recognized that most of us who fall under the label of "evolutionary" are people with noble "evolutionary aspirations" who first need to make a leap in our own evolution to become truly awakened evolutionaries able to serve the creative process at the highest level.

We're also acutely aware that traditional paths and practices, as powerful as they once were, have a limited amount to offer those of us who are awakening to this new spiritual calling. We need new practices and perspectives that are in step with contemporary life, and that integrate both ancient and emerging wisdom.

In order to serve this growing need for authentic evolutionary training and support, we've created what may be the first Academy for Evolutionaries—a training ground for people who are already committed to conscious evolution, and who are seeking the tools and support to make their greatest contribution and live a truly awakened life.

I'm sure there are several reasons this triggers me, despite my sympathy with some of the basic perspectives and orientations, but it surely isn't because he said this, LOL:   "This won't be just another online forum where a few brainiacs argue about the finer points of integral theory. This will be a dynamic opportunity for genuine evolutionary engagement...."

How silly, everyone knows WE are the REAL evolutionaries saving mankind from themselves, and it's all open source! How mean can we get, giving away such brilliance without asking for one dime... Ah yes, if you're an evolved capitalist you might counter: "You get what you pay for." Uh huh. But our nothing is also everything, which is of course not free but priceless.
