George Carlin nailed oligarchy years ago, and the myth of the American Dream.
Alanis Morissette is supporting Marianne Williamson for Congress and released this song in her support. It's about time songwriters returned to political issues, for if we don't wake up and take action democracy will be long gone. Btw, Thom Hartmann is also supporting Williamson.
Very nice, I'm stealing it.
Good, moody music from the tradition of my internet avatar's namesake:
Which is which, and who is who... Those words from this post reminded me of this classic.
Meryl and Maks perfect tango on DWTS last night. The final is tonight and she should win, but who knows when you let the ignorant public vote.
All you're ever gonna be is mean. When I was two-stepping last night to this song my partner was unabashedly singing along. I wondered if she was trying to tell me something so I looked around the room and many of the other women, both dancing and watching, both old and young, were also singing along. Seems it's just one of those songs that strikes a chord with women. And with me too, since I also have some bully stories. Plus it really is just plain old good for two-stepping.
Remember this bully story?
A study on male attractiveness. A study conducted by UCLA's Department of Psychiatry has revealed that the kind of face a woman finds attractive on a man can differ depending on where she is in her menstrual cycle. For example: if she is ovulating, she is attracted to men with rugged and masculine features. However, if she is menstruating or menopausal, she tends to be more attracted to a man with duct tape over his mouth and a knife lodged in his chest with a bat up his ass while he is on fire. No further studies are expected on this subject.
Recent posts on Crowley and the GD brought this old classic to mind.
