After receiving feedback from several of you regarding my decision to close IPS, I have decided to keep it open, but I do not want to continue here at Ning, since that will require a monthly subscription.  So, I have decided to move the forum to a location with free hosting.  (I was waiting on the Shift Movement website to open, as has been promised for awhile now, but there is still no indication when that will go online.)

So, the new site will be through SocialGo: http://integralpostmetaphysics.socialgo.com/

I am hoping at this new site to make a "fresh start," and to keep contributions on topic with the major themes of the forum, so I will be monitoring and moderating it more closely than I have been at Ning (since this always felt like a temporary home).

I believe the Ning site will be shut down on July 20th, so if you have any material here that you want to save, I recommend doing so before that date.

Best wishes,

B.

I'm glad to hear you decided to relocate the forum, Bruce. Given what I know SocialGo does seem like a good choice. The new forum looks great by the way!

Also, Bruce, I'm not sure if you know this or just haven't got around to it yet, but you can put an icon pic beside the IP address of the new forum just like you did here. Launch Admin ----> Network Details
Thank you, Seth. I had not gotten around to that yet -- but I also hadn't looked into how to do that yet! I'll do that today. I had set up a forum on another free site, too, but just got word that they're significantly reducing their free storage and transfer space allotments, so I decided to go with SocialGo. I've been part of a TSK group on SocialGo that has worked nicely for us.
Unlike Gaia, Ning will continue to exist after the switch to being a pay site. If you don't pay up will they erase the archives of this forum? Or leave them as is?
I believe they will delete the forum if I do not pay, but I'm not sure if that will happen right away. It might take awhile to happen. I'll look into that.
Ed, I checked, and they say that ultimately they will delete this forum, but they will provide a way to export the content if we do not continue here under a pay plan. I expect the forum won't be deleted at least until Aug 20.
So let's embark on the ships once more! On to new Coasts! Blow the Trumpets!

I see some of you have already signed up at our new home. Let's get things started over there, since this place is closing in a couple of days.
It is kind of funny how this group seems to be gaining a little momentum when we're suppose to be moving to the new home. Personally I'm just going with the flow; as soon as something catches my attention over there I'm all in. Maybe some of the threads that are currently active here should be moved over there.

Yes, I noticed that. I've learned that there is a very cheap option (Ning "Mini") that would allow me to stay here for an affordable price -- but with a little more limitations than we have at present. I could do that, but if I did, I'd need to reconfigure things, including removing content that does not really serve the purposes of this group. It might be better just to start fresh at the new place, but with this new option, I'm open now also to staying here.
Well honestly I'm still up to the move, but I start to wonder if Ning sites are apt to pop up on search engines more frequently. If not I would say move, if so I would consider the stay a lot more. No matter what though I think my opinion should take a back seat consideration in all this.
I wonder too if people are maybe not getting this information. Have they seen this thread? Is there a way for you to send a message to all group members, Bruce?

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.

At the moment, this site is at full membership capacity and we are not admitting new members.  We are still getting new membership applications, however, so I am considering upgrading to the next level, which will allow for more members to join.  In the meantime, all discussions are open for viewing and we hope you will read and enjoy the content here.
