On my part, two things are going on: one, I just started a new quarter at school which is even busier than usual, so I'm quite busy and haven't had as much time for online work. But, two, I've also lost some of the spark for forum discussion since we had to do this transition -- partly, because I haven't felt fully settled in this space (and now it looks like we likely will have to move), and partly because some of the shake-up in membership since the transition has left me feeling less inspired to contribute. The latter is just a mood, which will pass, and I will contribute more actively and begin "cultivating" again when I have a bit more time.
Sorry Balder,
I wasn´t on the nego critique side, just asking.
I felt the same after the closure of the Gaia forum. But there is also that feeling of "cognitive exhaustion". I mean all these years of readings or hours spent on various transpersonal forums etc... It feels like everything as been told, like going again and again trough the same windmill.

Like a psychologist friend of mine uses to say:"How great it would be if we started this whole adventure now again." hahhahhaha

hahhahah

Hi gaddy

Of course It is easy to get bored in this human life. It has probably always been the case in the past. Buddha was bored, Diogenes was bored, Socrates was bored , a local shoemaker in Baghdad or in Memphis too, a house wife or a business woman too, teenagers, kids, etc..all. A fucking long list. The opposite would be something incredible happening.

But careful here, brother, you are into some sort of trouble waters: mental stuctures in one hand and reality in another. What ´s reality for you btw?

How can you make that too obvious error to separate these cognitive representations?
Social life representations exist within our mental structures Do you know how perception functions?

cheers

this bad habit of bashing the tea baggers is also boring, hahhahah

What do you mean? Bitching about the right-wing lugnuts for the millionth time? ;-).

As I say, there must be conflict or the whole thing gets boring. But that's difficult if one thinks they've reached a Wilber Land of higher level non-dual cognitve Enlightenment. "Peach man".

You know, the faith that just around the corner there is "transformation" where we'll be smarter than everyone else.

Anyway, I've come to the conclusion that the highest cognitive generality has some how got confused with something really really special. I take it this was something that really turned on some Indian thinkers about
2000 years ago. Confusing mental structure with reality. yada yada.

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
