I apprecciate a lot his sens of humour of course, This march he organized to "restore sanity" is a great gesture. At last, an intelligent person asking people to go down the street to oppose the regressive forces undermining  the emancipatory project which the US is still a living symbol.

 

The Tea parties are a symbol of colonial times and in itself discriminatory because it represents just a fraction of what the US are today, a multicultural country and not an hegemonically based anglo-saxon culture as some still would like it remained to be (the late political scientist Sam Huntington for example).

 

Then why not Geronimo or Einstein parties?

well I wonder if today we are not going several century back in consciouness evolution with a plausible crazy majority of conservatives at the congress which don´t understand the ABC of social health covering for all, we in Europe are taking for granted as basic spiritual solidarity with our brothers and sisters.

the spirituality and humanism of Marx is pretty evident when we remember that in his time kids of 7 years old were working as slaves in coal mines.
