IPS on Facebook

After floating the idea yesterday and getting a positive response, I have created a mirror site of IPS on Facebook.  People indicated they would like a group page there for the convenience of it.  I will use it to post links to currently active threads on Ning IPS, or to important past threads, to keep people abreast of the discussions here.  The Facebook group will be open for discussions, but I will continue to encourage people to come here for more in-depth discussion and exploration.

* I know, theurj, that you avoid FB on principle, as might other people here, and I completely respect that.  I am not entirely comfortable with it myself, but since I've got a lot of contacts on FB now and the "integral discussion" scene is quite active, I've opted to at least open a window there onto IPS.

Yes, definitely, I plan to do that -- any relevant feedback, or any interesting independent discussions.

You recently posted something from the IPS Facebook sister site. Just wondering what's going on over there and if you'd post any interesting discussions from there to here? Do they ever read this forum and comment?

Hi, yes, people do sometimes comment on the discussions here, but not many have done so recently.  I've posted links to discussions here, which receive "likes," but not many comments.  But there were some comments under the Dallmayr article that Michael posted, so I'll copy them over to the new thread.
