9/11 ... From State of Emergency To State of Emerge 'n See

It was a truly amazing day eleven years ago, that changed the world.  Just after the Twin Tower attacks, the President got on international TV and announced, "We are using the upwelling of good wishes for the United States as an opportunity to bring together the people of the world, not just to end terrorism ... but to truly address the causes of terrorism ... "

Oh, I'm sorry.

That was in a parallel universe.

Meanwhile, back in this Universe ... fear-gnomes, little gnomes of gnawing fear, were introjected into the mainstream, making us susceptible to Mad Cowboy Disease ... not to mention truth decay, electile dysfunction and deficit inattention disorder.

The good news is that in spite of it all -- or more likely, because of it all -- there is an evolutionary upwising afoot.  Individually and collectively, people are awakening from numbing fear and dumbing media and recognizing that the crises we face are one big opportunity.
