Video series synopsis:  Towards an Integral Model of Buddhism by Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi (approx. 53 min. total) This lecture was given to the board members and volunteers of Buddhist Global Relief during a Board Retreat. It is an early attempt by Ven. Bodhi to develop a model for understanding and practicing Buddhism suitable for the post-modern stage of mind's evolution. 10 or so years ago Bhikkhu Bodhi visited the Thai Wat I used to associate with (he was friends with an American Monk residing there). I chauffered him around and got to chat with him. He was familiar with Wilber's work and had some criticisms of it (who doesn't) that I cannot remember. He suffers from chronic migraines, you can see the strain on his face in these videos. He is like the Theravada lineage holder...he knows the sutras like few others. A friend manages www.buddhistglobalrelief.org. He pays for the web hosting and other fees himself and says all the other volunteers do the same. From the sites front page 90% of the cash goes to relief so if you have a few extra bucks and are feeling generous you can be assured your donation will be well spent.
