For the next 10 minutes or so he notes that SR's critique is relevant to the Continental strain from Kant but not that of Hegel. He qualifies the latter though to those minor tangents of neo-Hegelianism like Zizek and Derrida, which posit the 'double-negation' without a higher synthesis. I've explored this at length in various threads in the forum.

inthesaltmine led me to a link which took me to footnotes to plato, who called this Caputo on speculative realism.

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
