My other question is in regards to the the term 'Integral'. Is integral an approach that subsumes 'spirit' as we understand it. Or can we place 'integral' as just one of a number of approaches to…Continue

I'm not sure about the term 'post-metaphysical' - does it mean trying to find a ground for 'spirit' without appeal to unknowable special qualities. Or does it mean finding a place holder for that…Continue

Hi, Dial, I remember you'd earlier expressed an interest in being able to view this site from a mobile device or iPad. I'm writing because I just got notice from Ning that a "new, improved" mobile interface goes live this week, so this (hopefully) should improve your viewing here.
Hi Dial,
I liked the reference from Wikipedia that you emboldened in your post to Tom:
"Some schools, such as Dzogchen, hold that the two truths are ultimately resolved into nonduality as a lived experience and are non-different.....I just don't think [the Dzogchen belief....above] can be had without living out and expressing its operation in the everyday."
Defined in that way I would have to hold my hand up as being a Dzogchen practitioner :-) (although I don't consider Dzogchen to be either a school or a belief). I have also had (still have) the great fortune to have benefitted from the instruction and guideance of Dzogchen masters/teachers over the last 30 or so years, principally Chogyal Namkhai Norbu, but also the Yungdrung Bon Dzogchen master Lopon Tenzin Namdak, as well as his student Tenzin Wangyal.
How did you come by your 'avatar' Dial?
