Here is a fellow Canuck brave enough to assess the situation in the mideast rationally:

Yes, i know, it's now anti-Semitic to have the audacity to suggest that Jews and Arabs live in and and share the land.

On how that might be possible:

-the roman and christian churches could issue formal apologies to the jews for past bigotries.

-at the same time Islamic populations could demand from the Imams formal reformations of that religious system that must take into account modern knowledge.

- at the same time the Jewish people must declare that the chosen people doctrine is an immature affront to what we now know about reality.

-at the same time neoliberal corporate structures must stop imperializing muslim lands and withdraw from those countries unless asked to stay.

- that the Russians and Chinese must agree not to manipulate these possible moves to their geopolitical advantage.

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
