I have been wondering for some time now why I recognize certain features of Ken's behaviour. Now I know what it is: Ken sounds, and looks, like he has asthma. Those short, forced inhalations, when you can see his turtle neck straining to take in oxygen. Some kind of pranic difficulty at work here, stemming, I would imagine, from some deep seated fear, or primal sense of insecurity. Loads of Reichian armour.
Ken Wilber has REDD, which is a disease which attacks the mitochondria in his cells.  From the descriptions I've heard, the damage REDD causes to the mitochondria leads to lack of oxygen in the cells and a pervasive feeling of suffocation.

that sucks. poor kenny.

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
