Matt Tiabbi has a new book out. Matt didn't have any spiritual insights when he was on those shrooms?

The Nephilim of Wall St. know this, in fact, they perfected it.

I'm going to post this here again because it is of significance to this topic. I believe that what i will post below was instituted consciously and willfully by amoral atheists over the last 2 centuries.

Meet the new boss; same as the old boss.

Money: the monotheistic god of this planet. The corporation has become the new Messiah who suffers the little children to come unto him through its charitable foundations- truly, the orphans have never been better treated? The Holy Spirit is the mysterious machinations of fiat currency, interest, bonds, credit default swaps , etc. The soteriological claims of this Messiah are the technological, scientific miracles it performs to save the planet (new cloud engineering technology to stave off excess carbon in the atmosphere; human genome technology to cure disease, etc). This monotheistic money god also splits itself into the Trinity through the relationships between the Messiah, big banks and governments. The apostles are the global financiers and the Davos elites. The disciples are the entertainment and sports stars who promote the agenda of the Messiah. The Evangelists of this Messiah fill the Wall Street advertising hi-rises. The temples and churches of Walmart and Ikea etc. are full to overflowing 7 days a week with flocks of consumers. The rest of us are the believers in this new most successful form of Christianity............................................................

I should point out that ethical atheists like Sam Harris or anyone else like him are all right in my books. Buddhist non-theists are totally cool with me if they walk what i call the right hand path of love and compassion and forego ethnocentrism and bigotry. But amoral atheists should not be allowed to control the planet and in my opinion this is what we have allowed to have happen. I shall as best as i am able argue this assertion on this thread.

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
