The Nature and Importance of the

Fourth Dimension/Astral Plane

Note: As with everything I write, but especially so in this paper, it is sheer speculation for heuristic and stimulative/catalytic purposes, rather than being an attempt to set forth something which has been validated in some way.

Hi O.M.,

I'm glad you liked my Integral Political Economy talk. And thanks for saying so. Perhaps we'll see each other at the next ITC conference.

Look out for my latest stuff, Integral Scientific Pluralism (ISP) and Holarchical Field Theory. ISP comes out in this month's issue of the Journal of Integral Theory and Practice. I'm really excited about it. Wilber said it "advances thefield" and so on.

Kind regards,

Hi, OM! No, you were not a "target" of that broadcast message! I would certainly welcome more participation from you, but you have contributed in the past, have set your profile, and have told me of your interest in occasionally dipping in and reading here, and that's good enough for me. My message was primarily for members who have joined and then have not contributed in any way or even set up profiles for themselves. There are about 25 like that who have joined in the last few months.

Yeah, having an interesting profile is one thing. Way cooler is posting interesting shinola on shiny threads.

To paraphrase my Grandpa Ramana:

Be as brillig as you are, babe.

Attached to you OM. Yes, the Lordy forbid there should be any attachments, but here it is. Quietlols.
What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
