In the recent issue of JITP, Mark Schmanko contributed an essay which looks at the work of Jeffrey Kripal from an Integral angle, particularly Kripal's book, Mutants and Mystics.  I've been meaning to check it out, based on Mark's recommendation and essay, but now I've received an extra push from Beams and Struts, where the book has also been highlighted in an essay by Chris Dierkes

This book sounds right up Kela's alley, by the way.  I wonder if he's read it.

What paths lie ahead for religion and spirituality in the 21st Century? How might the insights of modernity and post-modernity impact and inform humanity's ancient wisdom traditions? How are we to enact, together, new spiritual visions – independently, or within our respective traditions – that can respond adequately to the challenges of our times?

This group is for anyone interested in exploring these questions and tracing out the horizons of an integral post-metaphysical spirituality.
